My love for music and design go hand and hand when i want to test my skills. My passion lead me to create a Lyric poster that was inspired by the song Father Time by Kendrick Lamar. My goal was to create a layout that was appealing to the audience, but also to make sure the message reflected the message of the music.

With the support on this design, i decied to create mock ups for for a black and white t shirt. the goal was to see how far i can go with creating different style merchandise with this single design.

Along with the t shirts, i created this mock up for a vhs tape sleeve. Product design is something i am also interested in. This is the first step i took into making a design for products. the goal was to make the design have an overall pleasent visual without the elements being too repeatitive.

Pop smoke tribute

After the passing of Brooklyn rapper pop smoke, i decided to release a tribute post on social media. being a of his music and also being from Brooklyn i wanted to pay my respect the only way i knew how. creating visual art is really how i am able to express myself. the goal was to create a design that was clean worked well with a small amount of typography. this is an early example of my typography experiment.

Months after i had posted this design, it was being used in a negative light on social media. After rapper 6ix9ine posted the deign on his Instagram story as sarcasm, the design would go on to be featured on TMZ's Snapchat, The source and also on hiphop personal Akademiks instagram.
